Arbitration: What type of disputes are eligible?

NCDS arbitrates Suzuki vehicle disputes involving alleged product reliability or warranty performance problems during the eligibility period:

  1. 3 year or 36,000 miles from the date of original delivery, whichever is earlier.

  2. The scope of the dispute resolution program is limited, in part, by the terms and provision of Suzuki’s Limited Warranty.  As an example and not limited to, NCDS will not arbitrate claims involving a vehicle used for commercial purposes (unless “Lemon Laws” of your state covers vehicles used for commercial purposes) or claims that an airbag failed to deploy or deployed when it should not have.  To quality, your request for mediation/arbitration with NCDS must be filed within 60 days of the expiration of the eligibility period, provided your concerns or alleged defects were brought to the attention of a Suzuki or a Suzuki Service Provider during eligibility period.
