Dual-stage driver and front-passenger airbag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) with front-passenger with weight sensor

Dual-stage front airbags are capable of deploying with full or reduced force, helping to provide the appropriate level of energy absorption for both larger and smaller front-seat passengers. The front passenger-seat weight sensors prevent deployment of the front passenger-seat airbag if the occupant weighs significantly less than an average adult, helping to prevent unnecessary injury.
