Before joining Motor Trend in 2004, MacKenzie served as the editor for EMAP’s Car magazine, the top UK automotive publication, and editor of Australia’s top-selling automotive magazine, Wheels. MacKenzie will drive the first leg of the Tokyo to L.A.: The Hard Way through Japan.

	Todd Lassa Todd Lassa is the Detroit editor of Motor Trend. Before joining the publication in 2000, he was an editor at AutoWeek. Lassa will drive the third leg of the Tokyo to L.A.: The Hard Way through Alaska and Canada.
