Arbitration: How long is the arbitration process?

The entire process, from the time NCDS receives your request for mediation/arbitration to the Arbitrator’s decision, is designed to take no more than 40 days.  In some cases a decision may be delayed because of:

  • Your failure to provide the necessary information.
  • You haven’t contacted Suzuki about your dispute before requesting arbitration from NCDS.

The Arbitrator’s decision will be sent to you along with a letter from NCDS.  The Arbitrator’s decision will specify that Suzuki must comply with the decision usually within 30 calendar days.  NCDS will contact you to ensure that Suzuki has complied in a timely manner.
